By accessing or using CanopyCode, SheetCode, or ArborCode, the LandCode website (https://landcode.co), or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and LandCode, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("LandCode," "we," "us," or "our").
The Services are intended for professional and commercial use only by landscape architects, civil engineers, consulting arborists, and related professionals.
You must be at least 18, have legal capacity to contract, and use the Services for lawful business purposes.
A limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use CanopyCode and SheetCode for your internal business purposes. Your purchase grants a license to use the software, not ownership.
Sold per seat: install on multiple computers you own/control, with one active session at a time per license. Concurrent use requires additional licenses.
ArborCode is provided as a hosted subscription service, accessed via web browser and our mobile apps. Subject to these Terms and your active plan, LandCode grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use ArborCode for the number of authorized users (seats) in your plan. Each user requires their own seat; credentials may not be shared between individuals.

Violation may result in immediate termination.
Provide accurate information, safeguard your credentials, and notify us of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe; LandCode does not store complete card information. By submitting payment you agree to Stripe's applicable terms.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing term (annual or monthly) unless canceled before renewal. We provide a renewal reminder before charging.
We may change subscription prices. For existing subscribers, a price change takes effect at your next renewal, and we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice so you may cancel before it applies.
When you accept client card payments through ArborCode's Stripe integration, ArborCode retains a platform fee of 0.5% of each card payment processed through the Service. This is in addition to Stripe's own processing fees, charged by Stripe under your Stripe account terms. The remainder is deposited directly into your connected Stripe account; ArborCode does not hold your funds.
ArborCode offers a Free plan ("start free, no credit card") that you may use on an ongoing basis, subject to usage limits described at sign-up. This is a free tier, not a time-limited trial. For the desktop plugins, LandCode may offer a 7-day free trial to select users at its discretion (one per user or organization).
We offer a one-time, 30-day money-back guarantee on initial purchases of CanopyCode standard licenses and of ArborCode paid self-serve plans (Basic, Pro, and Premium).
Enterprise agreements ($25,000/year and above) and custom ArborCode Organization agreements are not eligible for the 30-day guarantee; those are evaluated pre-purchase and are firm for their term once executed.
Requests must be made within 30 days of purchase; no refunds or prorated refunds after 30 days; previously refunded customers are not eligible for additional refunds.
Contact [email protected]; approved refunds are typically processed in 5 to 10 business days. Your content in ArborCode remains exportable through the refund window before access is removed. Upon refund, your license/subscription is revoked (uninstall desktop software; ArborCode access ends).
9.1 Your ownership. You own the tree data, photos, projects, reports, files, and client information you create or upload in ArborCode ("Your Content"). LandCode claims no ownership of Your Content.
9.2 License to operate the Service. You grant LandCode a limited, worldwide license to host, store, copy, back up, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to provide and maintain the Service for you and your authorized users. We do not sell Your Content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. (If AI features are introduced, Your Content may be sent to an AI provider for inference only, under terms that do not train on it, with notice as described in the ArborCode Privacy Policy.)
9.3 Export and deletion. You may export Your Content at any time using the in-app export tools. On account closure or a deletion request, Your Content is deleted per the retention schedule in the ArborCode Privacy Policy, published at arborcode.app. To request account and data deletion, email [email protected].
9.4 Client/third-party data. If you upload information about your clients or third parties, you represent that you have the right to do so; you are the controller of that data and LandCode processes it on your behalf.
9.5 Backups. We maintain reasonable backups, but you are responsible for keeping your own copies of critical deliverables.
ArborCode is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may perform maintenance or modify features. We are not liable for unavailability, sync delays, or loss from service interruptions, subject to Section 15.
Your active license/subscription includes updates and feature releases during the term. Support is provided via [email protected]; response times are not guaranteed.
The ArborCode mobile apps are licensed, not sold, and are subject to the applicable app-store terms. The following apply to apps obtained through the Apple App Store (the "Licensed Application" terms Apple requires):
All software, documentation, trademarks, logos, and related materials are the exclusive property of LandCode, LLC. You retain ownership of all drawings, data, outputs, and Your Content you create using the Services; LandCode claims no ownership of your work product. Any feedback you provide may be used by LandCode without compensation or attribution.
CanopyCode, SheetCode, and ArborCode are professional assistance tools only. You remain solely responsible for verifying all calculations and outputs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and the professional accuracy and suitability of deliverables. LandCode does not guarantee that software output (including CAD exports, reports, or appraisals) will meet jurisdiction-specific requirements.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or virus-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LandCode shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LandCode and its affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, or content/data processed using the Services.
You may cancel at any time (effective at the end of the current term). LandCode may suspend or terminate access immediately for violations, non-payment, fraud, or abuse. Upon termination: uninstall desktop software; for ArborCode, your access ends and Your Content is handled per the ArborCode Privacy Policy retention schedule (export beforehand using the in-app tools). Data embedded in your local project files remains yours.
Governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles; exclusive jurisdiction in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
