LandCode, LLC ("LandCode™," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our desktop plugins, CanopyCode™ and SheetCode™, and visit our website at https://landcode.co (collectively, the "Services").
ArborCode™ has its own privacy policy. ArborCode is a LandCode, LLC product, but it is a separate cloud web and mobile platform with its own app-store and Google API obligations, so its privacy policy is published on its own site at arborcode.app/privacy. If you use ArborCode, that policy governs the data the ArborCode app collects (including your account, tree data, photos, and location). This policy does not cover the ArborCode app. It does cover the free tree impact analysis form on this website, which sends your upload to ArborCode’s infrastructure (Section 1.7).
The LandCode code research service is in early access. Joining the early-access list on this website collects the contact details you submit, and those are handled exactly as described in this policy. The service itself runs at landcode.app, a separate site with its own public homepage and its own application. Information collected at landcode.app is governed by that site’s own privacy policy, not this one.
By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's hosted checkout and never reach our servers. We store only a Stripe customer/subscription identifier, not your card number. Stripe handles payment data under applicable security standards (including PCI-DSS).
When you activate CanopyCode or SheetCode, we collect a license key and activation status, a non-identifiable machine fingerprint (to enforce per-seat licensing), AutoCAD/Civil 3D version, product version, and activation timestamps. This is processed by Keygen, our license provider, solely for license validation and fraud prevention.
Log data (IP address, browser, OS, referring URLs, pages viewed, timestamps) and device information (type, resolution, language).
Calendly (scheduling details) and Zoom (call metadata and, per settings/consent, audio/video).
When you request a free tree impact analysis at landcode.co/canopycode/convert, you upload two files: a tree inventory that includes each tree’s coordinates, and a CAD file of your site. Your browser packages them into one zip file and sends it, with the details you entered, to ArborCode’s infrastructure at arborcode.app (ArborCode is a LandCode, LLC product). There the upload is stored privately on Cloudflare R2 storage, a record of your request is created, and we are notified by email, text message, and Discord so that a person can run the analysis and reply to you.
We use your files and request details only to produce and deliver the analysis you asked for, to reply to you about it, and to follow up with you about CanopyCode. We do not use them to train AI models, and we do not share them with anyone except the providers listed in Section 4. Your files may contain project information, such as site boundaries and tree locations, so upload only files you have the right to share. To have your files deleted, email [email protected]; Section 5 states how long we otherwise keep them. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the request comes from a person.
Essential, analytics, and preference cookies. Third-party services that may set cookies or similar technologies include Stripe, Calendly, Cloudflare (including Cloudflare Turnstile on our free-analysis form), and YouTube. The how-to videos on our documentation pages are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which sets no cookies until you play a video; once you do, Google’s privacy policy applies to that playback. Our website analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, is cookieless and does not track you across sites. Manage cookies via your browser settings; blocking some may affect functionality.
Provide and maintain the Services; process payments; produce and deliver a free analysis you request, and follow up with you about it; communicate and provide support; improve our products and website; enforce our terms and prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or to train any AI models. The drawing content, tree data, and project files you work on in CanopyCode and SheetCode stay on your own machine; we do not collect or store them. The only project files we receive are the ones you choose to upload for a free analysis (Section 1.7).
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the Services. Free-analysis uploads are received on our own ArborCode platform (Section 1.7); the providers it uses for that purpose are included below.
